The Neighborhood

Napa's neighborhood for premium Cabernet Sauvignon is helmed by fifteen vintners who work together in an environment of camaraderie through the Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association.

Wineries in the Association range from small, family-owned properties with very limited production to mid-size wineries with international distribution and recognition. All share a common desire and responsibility to uphold the world-wide reputation of the region and the quality of its wines.

With formal appellation designation received in 1989, the Stags Leap District's distinct soil and topography unite our wineries and enable them to produce what is widely regarded as the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in the world today.
