Felt like we were at a relative's home for Christmas dinner. Everyone was extremely friendly. We made new friends - folks sitting at our table. Had a world class meal prepared by a chef who was knowledgeable and gracious.

Saturday - Winery Open Houses

This District wide event gives you entrée to our most historic properties and our newest members. Begin at a starting point of your choice and wind your way up and down the Silverado Trail from winery to winery. Your V2V pass gives you exclusive access to our vintners and winemakers. Discover winery caves, enjoy special barrel tastings, explore the cellars and enjoy food and wine pairings not available to the public.

All the open houses we attended were delightful. The vintners, wine makers and guests were all so friendly and made us feel right at home. There were several wines we were not familiar with and ended up joining their clubs! A great event and definitely will attend next year. Also the brunch on Sunday was fantastic, it was a great way to end the wonderful weekend. We didn't want to leave!

Sunday - Brunch with the Vintners

Meet and mingle with our vintners when they come together Sunday for fun and fiesta fare. Fill up on a hearty brunch of huevos rancheros, and much more, prepared by famed Michelin-starred Meadowood Resort. Swirl and sip your way through a preview of the acclaimed 2010 Appellation Collection. This is the ticket to wrap up your V2V weekend!

This was the most pleasant of surprises! We almost didn't go because of the over indulgence of the previous day. Boy what a mistake that would have been. Entering the event felt like walking into a square of a Tuscany village. The venue and staging for this was perfect. The music was specially enjoyable - light and lively played by some real pros! The sangria we are still talking about. The cuisine was fantastic and the perfect way to serve. But having representatives from all the Stags Leap District vintners on hand capped it off for us.
