Hartwell Vineyards
"Grow the best grapes . . . make the best wine!" As an avid collector of fine wines and rare vintages for over twenty years, Bob Hartwell eventually came to the realization that it was time to satisfy his dream of owning his own vineyard. In 1985, after thirty years of ownership success in the aerospace and plumbing industries, Bob wanted to focus his energy on producing top-quality wines. An obsession for Cabernet Sauvignon made searching for the optimal growing location an easy choice. Hartwell Vineyards is located on the west side of the Silverado Trail, in the "Hart" of the Stags Leap District. Our vineyards yield powerful, concentrated wines that are enormously rich and impressive.
